THE NORTHEAST NEBRASKA CHAPTER OF THE AMERICAN RED CROSS
Financial donations are always needed. s
The local Red Cross chapter does not receive any government or federal funding. It relies solely on the generosity of the American public. A financial gift of any size is appreciated and used to help others in their time of need. A direct mailing is sent out to the public in November and March of every year, but even if you do not receive one of our letters, you can still make a contribution by mailing it to our office at 106 W. 3rd P.O. Box 94 in Wayne or you can also drop off a donation at 402-375-5209 and arrangements can be made to come and visit you to receive your donation.
The Northeast Nebraska Chapter implemented a sponsorship program in 2001 to help sustain their on-going financial base of operation each year. To become a Northeast Nebraska Red Cross Sponsor, you make a financial commitment of $250 annually (July 1-June 30 is our fiscal year). This $250 payment can be made in whatever way is best for you--all in one lump sum (which can be billed at any month you desire); bi-annual payments of $125; quarterly payments of $62.50 or even monthly payment of $21. Again, you can choose the months you would prefer to make the payments and a bill will be sent to you.
All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people. You can help victims of disasters across the country each year by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need. Call 1-800-HELP-NOW or 1-800-7575 (Spanish). Contributions to the Disaster Relief Fund may be sent to your local American Red Cross chapter or to the American Red Cross, P. O. Box 37243, Washington, DC 20013. Internet users can make a secure online contribution by visiting www.redcross.org.
Thank you for your generosity.
